The primary goals of usage at Britt David Magnet Academy are literacy exposure and practice to challenge current reading levels and seek accelerated Lexile gains. Another focus includes Social Emotional support focusing on students becoming more self-aware while engaging in Career Exploration.
Teachers use Beable for instruction in social and emotional support as students learn the language of RIASEC and build 21st century communication and collaboration skills.
Teachers use Beable as a career exploration tool and CTAE, creating a path of equality and equitable exposure to children from all economic, religious, and cultural backgrounds.
Teachers use Beable to support the district’s personalize learning objectives, with all students creating a Learner Profile, selecting careers of interests, and identifying reading topics of interest.
Engagement and Impact
In an exciting year working with Beable, our learners are developing greater awareness of their interests and strengths. They’re building their literacy skills and exploring careers that will lead to lifelong success. They’re growing as students and people!
